What is a Dual Inverter Air Conditioner?

The term ‘dual inverter’ has been use to describe air conditioners that use two compressors to cool a room. Dual inverters are more energy-efficient than single rotatory compressors, because they use twin compressors with lower frequencies of rotation and lower power requirements. An inverter AC typically lasts about 15 to 20 years, and its lifespan is much longer than a traditional one.

The compressors of a dual inverter air conditioner work with inverter technology, which enables it to modulate the cooling capacity of the HVAC system. The traditional single cylinder compressor uses variable-speed motors to produce cool air. However, dual inverters use two separate rotary compressors, each with 180-degree compression timing. These models are more efficient than their predecessors are, and they bring the desired temperature to a room more quickly.
