Air purifier prices in Pakistan at a glance

  • What it does: an air purifier pulls fine dust, smog, smoke and pollen out of the air in one closed room.
  • What sets the price: the filter, the room size it is rated for, a dust sensor and the brand.
  • Filter first: a true HEPA filter catches the fine PM2.5 particles in winter smog. A basic mesh does not.
  • Low power: the purifiers we list are rated at about 22 to 55 W, less than a ceiling fan.
  • Real running cost: the replacement filter, usually every six months to a year.
  • Delivery: free delivery in Peshawar with any payment method, and free delivery across Pakistan with advance payment, full or partial.

Why buy an air purifier in Pakistan?

Because the air indoors is often as dusty and smoky as the air outside. From late October to January, smog sits over Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala and much of Punjab, and Peshawar has its own mix of traffic smoke and dust. In spring, pollen troubles many families in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

A purifier will not fix the city air, but it can keep one room cleaner. Families usually run one in the bedroom of a child, an elderly parent or anyone with allergies or asthma. It also helps in homes with smokers, near construction work or on a busy road. If anyone has a breathing condition, ask their doctor too, because a purifier supports treatment and does not replace it.

How an air purifier works

A fan pulls room air through a set of filters and blows clean air back out. Most good purifiers use three stages.

  1. Pre-filter: a washable mesh catches hair, lint and coarse dust, so the costly filter lasts longer.
  2. HEPA filter: a true HEPA layer traps very fine particles, down to about 0.3 microns. This is the part that deals with smog and PM2.5.
  3. Activated carbon: a carbon layer absorbs smoke, cooking smells and some fumes.

Look for the words “true HEPA” rather than “HEPA-type”. Avoid ozone generators sold as purifiers, because ozone itself irritates the lungs.

What size air purifier do you need?

Match the purifier to your room size in square feet. Multiply length by width: a 12 by 14 foot bedroom is 168 sq ft, and a 16 by 20 lounge is 320 sq ft. Every purifier lists the room size it is rated for, and some also give a CADR figure, the volume of clean air it delivers.

When in doubt, size up. A bigger purifier on a low setting is quiet and still keeps up. An undersized one runs at full speed, makes more noise and still cannot clean the room.

For a lounge or an open-plan room, a floor-standing purifier such as the Dawlance DWAP-400 FS, which is rated for about 500 sq ft, is a better fit than a small desk unit.

How to choose an air purifier, step by step

  1. Pick the room. One purifier cleans one closed room. Start with the bedroom where someone sleeps eight hours.
  2. Measure it. Work out the square feet and choose a purifier rated for at least that size.
  3. Check the filter. True HEPA plus activated carbon is the combination to look for.
  4. Look for a sensor. A dust sensor and auto mode speed the fan up when the air gets worse, so you do not have to.
  5. Check the noise. A sleep mode matters if it will run beside your bed all night.
  6. Ask about filters. Make sure replacement filters for that model are available before you buy.

Running cost: electricity and filters

An air purifier costs very little to run. A 22 W purifier left on for 24 hours uses about half a unit of electricity, and even a 55 W model uses only around 1.3 units a day. That is why a purifier also runs happily on a home UPS or solar system during load-shedding.

The real cost is the filter. Most HEPA filters last six months to a year, depending on how dirty the air is and how many hours a day you run the machine. In smog season you may need to change it sooner. Follow the filter indicator or the manual, and do not wash a HEPA filter unless the maker says it is washable.

Getting the most from an air purifier

  • Close doors and windows: with the room open, outside air keeps replacing the air it has cleaned.
  • Give it space: keep it a little away from walls and curtains so air flows in and out freely.
  • Run it steadily: leave it on auto or low all through smog season instead of switching it on only when the air already feels bad.
  • Clean the pre-filter: vacuum or rinse the outer mesh every few weeks if the maker allows it.

Does an air conditioner clean the air?

Only a little. An AC filter catches coarse dust to protect the coil, but it is not a HEPA filter and lets fine smog particles through. Many families run both: the AC for cooling or heating, and a purifier for the air itself. A purifier also keeps working in winter when the AC is off.

Which air purifier brand is best in Pakistan?

The filter and the rated room size matter more than the badge. GFC suits buyers who want a dust sensor or a 3-stage filter at a fair price. Dawlance offers a floor-standing unit for big rooms, Homage keeps power use very low, and Royal offers a stronger 55 W fan. Gree, Signature and TCL also make purifiers that we list when stock arrives. Choose by room size first, then compare features.

Air Purifier Price in Pakistan: FAQs

What is the air purifier price in Pakistan?

Air purifier prices in Pakistan start at Rs. 32,000 for a Royal air purifier and reach Rs. 60,900 for a GFC digital air purifier. These are live prices, updated daily across 5 models in stock.

Do air purifiers really work against smog?

Yes, inside one closed room. A purifier with a true HEPA filter removes most fine dust, smoke and PM2.5 from the air it pulls through. It cannot clean a room with open windows, and it does not replace ventilation or medical advice for anyone with asthma.

Which air purifier is right for a 12 by 12 bedroom?

A 12 by 12 room is 144 sq ft, so choose a purifier rated for at least 150 to 200 sq ft. A slightly bigger unit on a low or sleep setting stays quiet through the night and still keeps up when smog is heavy.

How often should I change the filter?

Most HEPA filters last six months to a year. In heavy smog, or if the purifier runs all day, you may need one sooner. Follow the filter indicator or the manual, and check that replacement filters are available before you buy a model.

Does an air purifier remove cigarette smoke and cooking smells?

Partly. The HEPA layer catches smoke particles, and an activated carbon layer absorbs much of the smell. A purifier with a thin carbon layer will not keep up with heavy smoking or a busy kitchen, so open a window or use the kitchen exhaust as well when you can.

Can I run an air purifier all night?

Yes. Air purifiers are made to run for long hours, and the models we list use only about 22 to 55 W. Use the sleep or night mode in a bedroom so the fan stays quiet and the display light is dim.

Will an air purifier work on UPS or solar?

Yes. Because a purifier draws so little power, it runs easily on a home UPS or a solar system during load-shedding. It is one of the lightest loads in the house, close to a single LED light and well below a ceiling fan.

What warranty comes with an air purifier?

Most air purifiers we sell carry a 1 year official warranty, valid across Pakistan, and some models list a longer term. The exact warranty is on each product page, and every unit is 100% original.

Is delivery free, and are there charges on Cash on Delivery?

You get free delivery in Peshawar with any payment method, and free delivery across Pakistan with advance payment, full or partial. Cash on Delivery orders outside Peshawar carry a delivery charge plus 2% sales tax and 2% income tax, which we confirm by phone before dispatch.

Can I buy an air purifier on installments?

Yes. You can pay monthly with zero down payment on a Bank Alfalah, JS Bank or MCB credit or debit card, and the process is fully online. The bank’s markup applies, and Bank Alfalah also charges a processing fee.
