Solo Microwave Price in Pakistan
A solo microwave costs Rs. 13,999 to Rs. 73,000 in Pakistan today. Solo means microwave only. It reheats salan and rice, defrosts meat, warms milk and boils water for tea.
It is the right first microwave for a student, a small family or anyone who mostly reheats. It cannot brown or crisp food, so a reheated paratha or samosa comes out soft. If you want crisp food, spend a little more on a grill model.
Grill Microwave Oven Price in Pakistan
A grill microwave costs Rs. 22,500 to Rs. 124,900 today. It has a heating element in the roof, so it can brown the top of a dish and crisp the outside of chicken tikka, seekh kebabs, toast and fish.
For most families this is the best value. You get everything a solo model does, plus a second way to cook.
Convection Microwave Oven Price in Pakistan
A convection microwave costs Rs. 29,700 to Rs. 53,500 today. It adds a fan and a heater that move hot air around the food, the same way an electric oven bakes. You can bake a cake, make pizza, bake biscuits and roast a whole chicken, and still reheat in microwave mode.
It is the one microwave that can replace an oven. It also keeps working during gas load-shedding, when a gas oven is no use. Choose 30 litres or more if you bake for a family, so the cake tin fits on the turntable.
Microwave Oven with Air Fryer Price in Pakistan
A microwave with an air fryer costs Rs. 42,600 to Rs. 53,500 today. It adds an air fry mode that blows very hot air over the food, so fries, wings and samosas turn crisp with a spoon of oil instead of a pan full.
It saves the counter space and the cost of a separate air fryer . If you will air fry every day for a big family, a separate air fryer heats up faster. For a small kitchen, one machine that does both is the better buy.
20 Litre Microwave Price in Pakistan
A 20 litre microwave costs Rs. 13,999 to Rs. 73,000 today, which makes it the most affordable size. It holds a dinner plate or a medium bowl and suits one or two people, a hostel room or an office kitchen.
Most 20 litre models are solo, with a simple dial and about 700 watts of cooking power. The turntable is usually about 24 to 25 cm across, so a large square dish will not turn. If you cook for four or more, go up to 25 litres.
Difference between microwave and oven
The difference between a microwave and an oven is how they heat. A microwave sends microwaves into the food, which make the water inside it heat up fast. An oven heats the air around the food with gas or an electric element, so the outside browns and bakes.
- Speed: a microwave reheats a plate of food in two or three minutes. An oven needs time to preheat first.
- Browning: a solo microwave cannot brown or crisp. An oven bakes a cake with a proper crust and roasts chicken with a golden skin.
- Power: a microwave runs for minutes, so it uses little electricity. An electric oven runs for longer and uses more.
- The middle way: a convection microwave does both jobs in one box. It reheats like a microwave and bakes like an oven.
If you mainly bake, a proper oven gives more space and more even baking. If you mainly reheat and only bake now and then, a convection microwave is enough.
How to choose a microwave oven: step by step
- Decide what you will cook. Reheating only needs a solo model. Tikka and toast need a grill. Cakes and pizza need convection. Crisp fries need an air fryer model.
- Count the people. 20 litres for one or two, 23 to 28 litres for three or four, 30 litres or more for a big family or for baking.
- Measure the space. Leave a few inches free at the sides, back and top for the vents. A built-in model needs a cabinet made to its size.
- Choose dial or digital. A dial is simple and has fewer electronics to damage. Digital adds weight defrost, auto menus, a clock and a child lock.
- Check your power backup. If you want to use it on a UPS or solar, check the input watts on the product page first. See the section below.
- Compare price and warranty. Use the tables above, then check each model’s price history before you order.
Microwave wattage and your electricity bill
A microwave uses little electricity, because it only runs for a few minutes at a time. The watts in the name, such as 700 W, are cooking power. From the socket it usually draws more, about 1,100 to 1,300 watts for a 700 W solo model.
As a rough guide, a microwave that runs 15 minutes a day uses about 0.3 units a day, or around 9 units a month. That is far less than heating the same food on an electric hob or in an electric oven. The grill and convection modes draw more, about 1,000 to 1,300 watts for the grill element and up to about 2,000 to 2,200 watts in convection mode, so long baking adds more to the bill.
Can you run a microwave on a UPS or solar?
Yes, but only on a large enough system. A typical 1 kVA home UPS will trip. A solo microwave needs about a 1.5 to 2 kVA UPS or inverter, a grill model about 2 kVA, and convection or air fry modes about 3 kVA.
On solar, a 5 kW hybrid inverter runs any microwave in good sun, as long as the iron, water motor or AC is not running at the same moment. Low voltage makes a microwave heat slowly. In areas where voltage jumps up and down, a stabiliser protects a digital control board, and a dial model has fewer electronics to damage.
Using and cleaning your microwave safely
- Use microwave-safe dishes. Glass, ceramic and plastic marked microwave-safe are fine. Keep metal, foil and plates with gold or silver rims out, because they spark.
- Never run it empty. With nothing inside, the energy goes back into the magnetron and can damage it.
- Cover and stir. Cover salan to stop it splashing, and stir halfway so there are no cold spots.
- Defrost Eid meat in rounds. Use weight defrost on a digital model, separate the pieces as they soften and cook the meat straight away.
- Clean with steam. Heat a bowl of water with lemon for a few minutes, then wipe the softened stains and smells away.
- Check the door. The door seal keeps the microwaves inside. If the door is damaged or does not close properly, have it checked before you use it again.
Best microwave oven in Pakistan: which brand?
The best microwave oven in Pakistan is the type and size that match your cooking, from a brand with service near you. There is no single winner. Dawlance and Haier have the widest choice at every budget and service across the country. Signature leads in large grill and built-in models. Orient, Kenwood and Homage offer good solo and grill models, and Midea adds a few well-made grill models.
Our advice from the showroom floor: pick the type first, then the size, then compare two or three brands on price and warranty. A grill microwave of 23 to 28 litres from a known brand is the safest buy for most families.

Microwave Oven Price in Pakistan: FAQs
What is the microwave oven price in Pakistan today?
In Pakistan, the microwave oven price starts from Rs. 13,999 for an Ocean 20 litre solo microwave oven; at the top end, a Signature 34 litre grill digital microwave oven costs Rs. 124,900. Prices are updated daily, with 81 models currently in stock.
What size microwave is best for a family of five?
For reheating family dishes, 25 to 30 litres is enough. If you also want to grill or bake, choose 30 to 36 litres so a large dish or a cake tin fits on the turntable. A 20 litre model will feel small for five people.
Which is better, a solo or a grill microwave?
A solo microwave is enough if you only reheat and defrost. A grill microwave costs a little more but browns and crisps food, so you can make tikka, kebabs and toast. For most families, a grill model is the better buy.
Can I bake a cake in a normal microwave?
Not a proper cake. A solo or grill microwave can make a quick mug cake, but it cannot bake a sponge with a crust. For cakes, pizza and biscuits you need a convection microwave, which has a fan and heater like an oven.
Is a dial or a digital microwave better where voltage drops?
A dial microwave copes better, because it has fewer electronics to damage. A digital model adds weight defrost, auto menus and a child lock. If you choose digital and your voltage is poor, use a stabiliser.
What warranty comes with a microwave oven?
Most microwaves carry a 1 year official warranty. Many Dawlance models list 2 years. Selected Signature models list 5 years. The exact term is on each product page, and every unit we sell is 100% original.
Is delivery free, and are there charges on Cash on Delivery?
You get free delivery in Peshawar with any payment method, and free delivery across Pakistan with advance payment, full or partial. Cash on Delivery orders outside Peshawar carry a delivery charge plus 2% sales tax and 2% income tax, which we confirm by phone before dispatch.
Can I buy a microwave oven on installments?
Yes. You can pay in monthly installments with zero down payment on a Bank Alfalah, JS Bank or MCB credit or debit card, and the whole process is online. The bank’s markup applies, and Bank Alfalah plans also carry a processing fee.
Do you install built-in microwave ovens?
A countertop microwave only needs a normal socket, so there is nothing to install. For built-in models, installation support is available on selected products. Ask our team on 0333-5652643 what is included for your model and city before you order the cabinet.
Why do microwave prices change?
Most microwaves sold in Pakistan are imported or use imported parts, so prices move with the dollar rate and import costs. Brands also change models often. We update prices daily, and every product page shows its price history, so you can see whether today’s price is a good one.
