The Kenwood DIM-40 in white is a 1200W heavyweight dry iron with a gold ceramic soleplate and auto shut-off. The Kenwood DIM-40 price in Pakistan at AYS Online is Rs. 13,000, with a 1-year official brand warranty, for families who want a firm, simple press on cotton, lawn and khaddar without filling a water tank.
A heavyweight iron with auto shut-off
A heavyweight iron lets its own weight do part of the work, so thick cotton, khaddar and bedsheets flatten with less effort. The gold ceramic soleplate glides smoothly and wipes clean easily once cold. Auto shut-off turns the iron off if it is left unattended, a useful safeguard in a busy household. With no steam system there is no tank to fill and no scale to clean.
An iron or steamer is one of the heaviest electrical loads in a home. Most household UPS units are not built for a load like this, so plan ironing for when mains power is on rather than during load-shedding.
Everyday care
Mist stubborn creases lightly with a spray bottle before pressing. Clean the soleplate with a soft damp cloth when cold, and avoid metal scrapers or abrasive pads.
