Samsung Refrigerator buying guide

Which Samsung refrigerator is right for you?

Samsung sells a small, premium range here — and one specification is true of every single model.

Range Best for What to know
RT series Top Mount The entry point Around 304 litres, and still the most expensive entry price on the site
Double Door Inverter Most Samsung buyers The volume of the range
Side by Side (RS series) Large families, wide kitchens The top of the range, above 20 cubic feet
No-Frost models People who hate defrosting Around a third of the Samsung range
Every model Inverter Samsung is the only fridge brand here where 100% of the range is inverter — no exceptions

Samsung is the most expensive way to buy a given size of fridge on this site. What you are paying for is build, the inverter as standard, and the badge — not more litres.

Is a Samsung fridge worth the premium?

The honest comparison, including where we would send you instead.

If you want Samsung Or consider
Inverter guaranteed Every model, no checking required Dawlance and Haier are around half to three quarters inverter — you just have to read the model
The longest compressor cover 10 years Dawlance gives 12 years, at a fraction of the price
Door variety Double door and side by side Signature has 4 door, French door and side by side, and costs less
Value per litre The weakest on this page Dawlance or Orient will give you the same capacity for far less money
Build quality and finish Genuinely the best here This is the real argument, and it is a fair one

If the premium does not bother you, a Samsung is an excellent fridge and nothing about it is a compromise. If you are optimising rupees per litre, Dawlance is the better buy and we would rather say so.

Why buy your Samsung Refrigerator from AYS?

Samsung fridge price in Pakistan

Samsung sits at the premium end here, and the range reflects it: our in-stock Samsung fridges run Rs. 243,000 to Rs. 591,000 across 12 models. There is no budget Samsung — every unit is Digital Inverter , and the range is built around top mount and side-by-side layouts rather than the standard Pakistani double door. Prices updated daily in July 2026.

What is Samsung Digital Inverter and Twin Cooling Plus?

Digital Inverter is Samsung’s compressor — it varies speed instead of cycling on and off, which lowers your bill and gives a smoother start-up current on a UPS or solar. Every Samsung we sell has it, so it is not a thing to shop for here; it is the baseline. Twin Cooling Plus is the one worth understanding: it runs two separate evaporators, one for the fridge and one for the freezer, so the two compartments do not share air. In practice that means your milk does not taste of last week’s frozen fish, and the fridge holds humidity while the freezer stays dry. It is the clearest technical reason to pay Samsung money.

Samsung side-by-side and water dispenser refrigerators

Samsung side-by-side refrigerators start from Rs. 526,000 and go up to Rs. 591,000, averaging Rs. 526,000 across 3 in-stock models. Full-height fridge and freezer columns — the RS62R models. Samsung models with a water dispenser start from Rs. 457,000 and go up to Rs. 457,000, averaging Rs. 457,000 across 1 in-stock models. The RT53DG and RS70F add a built-in water dispenser, so you get chilled water without opening the door — which also means less cold air lost every time someone wants a glass.

What is a Samsung Upright, and do you need two?

Worth explaining because it confuses people and it is easy to buy the wrong half. The RR39M73107F is an Upright — a full-height fridge-only column with no freezer at all. It is designed to stand beside a matching freezer column, the RZ32M71207F , as a pair. Bought alone it is simply a very large fridge with nowhere to freeze anything. If you want that layout, you are buying two appliances, not one, and you should budget accordingly. If you want one appliance that does both, the side-by-side RS62R is what you actually want.

Is Samsung worth the money?

Only for a particular buyer, and we would rather say so. If you want a family fridge under Rs 110,000, Orient is the right page and Samsung will not compete. If you want the best running cost per rupee, Haier ’s inverter range is the value play. Samsung earns its price on Twin Cooling Plus, build quality and resale — and on the fact that it genuinely does keep food better for longer. It is also one of the brands here that offers no frost , so you never defrost by hand: see every no frost fridge in stock if that is what brought you. The compressor warranty is 10 years , the same as Haier, Orient, Kenwood and Signature, and two short of Dawlance ’s 12.

Prices

What is the Samsung fridge / refrigerator price in Pakistan?+

Samsung Refrigerator prices in Pakistan range from Rs. 243,000 to Rs. 591,000 at AYS Online, with an average listed price of Rs. 382,500 across 12 in-stock models. “Fridge” and “refrigerator” mean the same thing. Samsung is premium-only here — there is no budget model, and every unit is Digital Inverter. The range runs from top mount at around 300 litres up to a 23-cubic-foot side-by-side with a water dispenser. Prices update daily in July 2026, with a 365-day history on every product page.

What is the Samsung side-by-side refrigerator price in Pakistan?+

Samsung side-by-side refrigerators start from Rs. 526,000 and go up to Rs. 591,000, averaging Rs. 526,000 across 3 in-stock models. Full-height fridge and freezer columns — the RS62R and RS70F models.

What is the Samsung inverter refrigerator price in Pakistan?+

Samsung inverter refrigerators start from Rs. 243,000 and go up to Rs. 591,000, averaging Rs. 382,500 across 12 in-stock models. Every Samsung we sell is Digital Inverter, so this covers the whole range — it is the baseline, not an upgrade.

Which Samsung refrigerators have a water dispenser?+

For Samsung models with a water dispenser, the current in-stock price is Rs. 457,000 for one available model. The RT53DG and RS70F have one built in — chilled water without opening the door, which also loses less cold air.

Choosing the right Samsung

What is Twin Cooling Plus, and is it worth paying for?+

Twin Cooling Plus runs two separate evaporators — one for the fridge, one for the freezer — so the compartments never share air. Two practical results: your milk and fruit do not pick up freezer smells, and the fridge keeps its humidity while the freezer stays dry, so vegetables last longer and ice does not cake. It is the clearest technical reason to choose Samsung over a cheaper inverter fridge. If you mostly store drinks and leftovers, you will not notice it. If you shop weekly and store fresh produce and fish together, you will.

What is a Samsung Upright refrigerator?+

The RR39M73107F Upright is a fridge-only column with no freezer . It is built to stand next to a matching freezer column (the RZ32M71207F) as a pair — so if you buy one alone, you have a very large fridge and nowhere to freeze. That is a genuine mistake people make. If you want both functions in one appliance, buy the side-by-side RS62R instead.

Is Samsung a good refrigerator brand in Pakistan?+

Samsung is a strong choice if your budget clears roughly Rs 240,000 and you want Twin Cooling Plus, proper no frost, and build quality that holds resale value. It is the wrong choice if you want a standard family double door on a normal budget — Orient or Haier will serve you better and we would rather you bought one of those than overspend here. The compressor warranty is 10 years, two short of Dawlance’s 12.

Buying from AYS Online

Can I buy a refrigerator on installments?+

Yes. AYS Online offers easy monthly installments with zero down payment on refrigerators through Bank Alfalah, JS Bank and MCB credit and debit cards, with a fully automated checkout. Cash on Delivery is also available for regular orders.

Is it safe to order a fridge online and have it shipped across Pakistan?+

Yes — every order ships with complete transit insurance , so the unit is covered while it is in transit to you. This is worth knowing if you are ordering from outside Peshawar: a refrigerator is large, heavy and expensive, and damage in transit is the thing most people worry about when buying one online rather than carrying it home from a shop. AYS Online has been shipping appliances since 1956, from 8 physical branches, and every unit is 100% original with the official manufacturer warranty valid nationwide. Cash on Delivery is available if you would rather pay when it reaches you.

Can I buy a Samsung refrigerator on installments?+

Yes. AYS Online offers zero down payment EMI through Bank Alfalah, JS Bank and MCB Bank credit and debit cards, with a fully automated installment checkout — no paperwork trips. Bank markup applies as per your bank’s schedule. Cash on Delivery and secure online payment are also available.

Using & maintaining your fridge

What is the ideal temperature for a fridge and freezer?+

Set the fridge compartment to roughly 3–5 °C and the freezer to about −18 °C. In Pakistan’s summer our technicians usually recommend one step colder than the factory default, because ambient kitchen heat and load shedding both push the internal temperature up. If your fridge has a numbered dial rather than degrees, the middle setting is close to 4 °C on most Dawlance and Haier models.

Why is my fridge not cooling properly?+

The most common causes our service teams see, in order: dirty condenser coils at the back, a worn or dirty door seal letting warm air in, air vents blocked by overpacked shelves, a faulty thermostat, and low refrigerant gas. Start with the two you can check yourself — clean the coils and press a sheet of paper in the door: if it slides out easily, the seal needs replacing. If the compressor runs constantly but nothing gets cold, that usually means a gas or compressor fault and needs a technician.

How much electricity does a refrigerator use in Pakistan?+

A typical medium double-door fridge draws roughly 150–250 kWh per month depending on size, ambient temperature and how often the door is opened. An inverter refrigerator varies compressor speed instead of switching on and off, which usually cuts that meaningfully and lets the fridge run on a home UPS or solar setup. Summer consumption is always higher than winter — the same unit works far harder at 45 °C.

Can I run a refrigerator on a UPS or solar?+

Yes, and it’s common in Pakistan. An inverter refrigerator is the better choice because its compressor draws a lower, smoother current instead of a hard start-up surge. Size the UPS for the fridge’s starting load, not its running load — a unit that hums along at 150 W can spike several times that for a moment when the compressor kicks in. Check the wattage on the product page before you match it to your backup.

Why is water collecting at the bottom of my fridge?+

Almost always a blocked defrost drain. Food debris or ice clogs the small drain hole at the back of the fridge compartment, so meltwater that should run to the tray under the unit pools inside instead. Clearing it with warm water usually solves it. If the water is outside the fridge rather than inside, check that the unit is level and that the drip tray at the back isn’t cracked or overflowing.

Why does my refrigerator make unusual noises?+

A gentle hum or an occasional click is normal — that’s the compressor and thermostat working. Worry about a rattle (usually the unit isn’t level, or something is touching the back panel), a loud buzz that gets louder over time (fan motor), or a knocking sound at start-up (compressor mounts). No frost models also make a periodic gurgle or crackle as the defrost cycle runs, which is expected.

Can I put hot food directly into the refrigerator?+

No. Let it cool close to room temperature first. Hot food raises the internal temperature of the whole compartment, makes the compressor run far longer than it should, and pushes other food through the unsafe temperature range. Don’t leave it out longer than about two hours, though — cool it quickly in a shallow dish, then refrigerate.

How often should I clean or defrost my refrigerator?+

Clean the interior and wipe the door seals every 2–3 months, and brush the condenser coils at the back at least twice a year — dust on the coils is the single most common cause of poor cooling we see in Peshawar homes. A no frost fridge defrosts itself. A direct cool model needs manual defrosting once the frost layer reaches roughly 3–5 mm, or it starts eating electricity.

Where should I place a refrigerator, and how much clearance does it need?+

Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from the cooking range, oven or any heat source, and leave a few inches of clearance at the back and sides so the coils can shed heat. A fridge crammed into a tight alcove works harder and costs more to run. After moving a fridge, stand it upright for a few hours before plugging it in so the compressor oil settles.

How long does a refrigerator last, and what does the warranty cover?+

A well-maintained fridge typically runs 10–15 years, and the compressor is usually the part that decides its life. That’s why compressor warranty matters more than the general warranty: most models we carry come with 1 year general cover plus 10 or 12 years on the compressor. Every unit at AYS Online is 100% original with the official manufacturer warranty, valid across Pakistan — the exact terms are listed on each product page.
