The Kenwood STP60 is a 2200W steam iron with a ceramic soleplate and a 300 ml water tank, finished in blue. Kenwood STP60 price in Pakistan at AYS Online is Rs. 17,000, with a 1-year official brand warranty, for households that iron daily shalwar kameez, school uniforms and office shirts and want steam, anti-drip and auto shut-off in one iron.
Ceramic soleplate, steam and anti-drip
The ceramic soleplate glides over cotton and lawn, and the 300 ml tank holds enough water for a normal load of family clothes before a refill. Vertical steam lets you freshen a kameez or a curtain while it hangs. The anti-drip system is meant to stop water dripping from the soleplate when the iron is not hot enough for steam, which matters on delicate fabrics.
Auto shut-off and self-clean
Auto shut-off switches the iron off when it is left unattended, a useful safety point in a busy home. The self-clean function helps flush out deposits from the steam chambers.
Tap water in many Pakistani cities is hard, and the minerals in it build up as scale inside any steam appliance over time. Emptying the tank after use and following the cleaning steps in the user manual helps keep the steam flowing.
