Which Signature refrigerator is right for you?

Signature has the widest choice of door layouts of any brand we sell — this is the page to be on if you want something other than a double door.

Layout Best for What to know
Top Mount (TM series) The entry point Signature's cheapest, and still premium money
Double Door Most families The conventional shape, done well
4 Door Large or joint families Signature stocks more 4-door fridges than any other brand here
Side by Side Wide kitchens, big freezers Needs real floor width and door clearance — measure before you buy
French Door (FD-100) The top of the range Widest shelves, highest price on this page

Signature is the only brand we carry with genuine choice across top mount, double door, 4 door, side by side and French door. Nearly half its range is No-Frost too — no manual defrosting.

Which door layout should you actually buy?

The layout decides how you live with the fridge far more than the badge does. Measure first.

Layout Needs Honest verdict
Double Door A normal kitchen gap Cheapest per litre, and right for most people. Freezer above or below
4 Door Width, and budget Fresh food at eye level, separate zones. Genuinely useful for a joint family
Side by Side Real floor width plus door swing clearance Huge freezer, narrow shelves — a wide pizza box does not fit. Check your doorway
French Door The most width of all Widest shelves in the range. The most expensive way to store food
Top Mount The least space The classic shape, freezer on top, cheapest to run

The most expensive mistake in this category is a fridge that will not turn into your kitchen. Measure the doorway, the corridor and the gap — then buy. Prices refresh daily.

Why buy your Signature Refrigerator from AYS?

Signature fridge price in Pakistan

Signature is the premium end of our range, and the price floor tells you that straight away: our in-stock Signature fridges run Rs. 219,900 to Rs. 699,000 across 17 models. There is no cheap Signature — the brand does not build one. What it builds is everything the mass-market brands leave out: French door, 4-door, side-by-side, built-in , water dispensers and frost-free cooling. If you have been through the Dawlance and Orient pages and found nothing in the shape you want, this is usually why. Prices updated daily in July 2026.

Signature French door and 4-door refrigerators

Signature French door refrigerators start from Rs. 699,000 and go up to Rs. 699,000, averaging Rs. 699,000 across 1 in-stock models. French door means two wide doors over a bottom freezer drawer — you open half the fridge at a time, and the shelves run the full width. Signature 4-door refrigerators start from Rs. 319,900 and go up to Rs. 699,000, averaging Rs. 407,400 across 8 in-stock models. The 4-door models split the freezer as well, which is the layout to pick if you freeze in bulk. Signature is effectively the only brand we carry that builds either at range.

Signature side-by-side and built-in refrigerators

Signature side-by-side refrigerators start from Rs. 319,900 and go up to Rs. 525,000, averaging Rs. 367,500 across 6 in-stock models. Full-height fridge and freezer columns — the easiest access and the most usable storage. The SB-150 adds a water dispenser. The BN-120 and FD-100 are built-in models, designed to sit flush inside cabinetry rather than stand alone — the only built-in refrigerators we stock. If you are fitting a kitchen rather than furnishing one, start there.

Does Signature have no frost?

Yes — Signature is one of the few brands we carry with frost-free models across the range, including the FD80, FD85G and the built-in BN-120. No frost means the fridge defrosts itself: you never scrape ice, at the cost of slightly higher running cost and marginally drier air than direct cool. Rather than take our word for which models are frost-free today, see every no frost fridge we have in stock right now — that list is live and always current.

Is Signature worth the money?

Straight answer: only for a specific buyer. If you want a family fridge and Rs 110,000 is your budget, Orient will serve you better and we would rather you bought one. If you want the best running cost per rupee, Haier ’s inverter range is the value play. Signature earns its price in one situation — when you want a layout nobody else builds here: a genuine French door, a built-in that disappears into cabinetry, a 4-door, or a side-by-side with a water dispenser. The compressor warranty is 10 years , the same as Haier, Orient and Kenwood, and two years short of Dawlance ’s 12.

Choosing the right Signature

Is Signature a good refrigerator brand?+

Signature is worth it for one specific reason: it builds the layouts the mass-market brands do not sell here — French door, 4-door, built-in, side-by-side with a water dispenser, and frost-free cooling. If you want a standard family double door, you will get better value from Orient or Haier and we would genuinely rather point you there. The compressor warranty is 10 years, the same as Haier and Orient, and two years short of Dawlance.

Which refrigerator brands have no frost?+

Several of ours do — Signature, Samsung, LG and some Dawlance models are all frost-free, while Orient and Kenwood are direct cool only. Rather than rely on a list that ages, use the live filter: see every no frost fridge in stock right now . No frost means the unit defrosts itself; direct cool is cheaper to buy and run and holds humidity better, but you defrost by hand once frost reaches 3–5 mm.

Do you sell built-in refrigerators?+

Yes — Signature’s BN-120 and FD-100 are the only built-in refrigerators we carry. They are designed to sit flush inside kitchen cabinetry rather than stand alone, so measure your cabinet opening before ordering rather than measuring the fridge. Everything else in our range is freestanding.

Buying from AYS Online

Can I buy a refrigerator on installments?+

Yes. AYS Online offers easy monthly installments with zero down payment on refrigerators through Bank Alfalah, JS Bank and MCB credit and debit cards, with a fully automated checkout. Cash on Delivery is also available for regular orders.

Is it safe to order a fridge online and have it shipped across Pakistan?+

Yes — every order ships with complete transit insurance , so the unit is covered while it is in transit to you. This is worth knowing if you are ordering from outside Peshawar: a refrigerator is large, heavy and expensive, and damage in transit is the thing most people worry about when buying one online rather than carrying it home from a shop. AYS Online has been shipping appliances since 1956, from 8 physical branches, and every unit is 100% original with the official manufacturer warranty valid nationwide. Cash on Delivery is available if you would rather pay when it reaches you.

Yes. AYS Online offers zero down payment EMI through Bank Alfalah, JS Bank and MCB Bank credit and debit cards, with a fully automated installment checkout — no paperwork trips. Bank markup applies as per your bank’s schedule. Cash on Delivery and secure online payment are also available.

Using & maintaining your fridge

What is the ideal temperature for a fridge and freezer?+

Set the fridge compartment to roughly 3–5 °C and the freezer to about −18 °C. In Pakistan’s summer our technicians usually recommend one step colder than the factory default, because ambient kitchen heat and load shedding both push the internal temperature up. If your fridge has a numbered dial rather than degrees, the middle setting is close to 4 °C on most Dawlance and Haier models.

Why is my fridge not cooling properly?+

The most common causes our service teams see, in order: dirty condenser coils at the back, a worn or dirty door seal letting warm air in, air vents blocked by overpacked shelves, a faulty thermostat, and low refrigerant gas. Start with the two you can check yourself — clean the coils and press a sheet of paper in the door: if it slides out easily, the seal needs replacing. If the compressor runs constantly but nothing gets cold, that usually means a gas or compressor fault and needs a technician.

How much electricity does a refrigerator use in Pakistan?+

A typical medium double-door fridge draws roughly 150–250 kWh per month depending on size, ambient temperature and how often the door is opened. An inverter refrigerator varies compressor speed instead of switching on and off, which usually cuts that meaningfully and lets the fridge run on a home UPS or solar setup. Summer consumption is always higher than winter — the same unit works far harder at 45 °C.

Can I run a refrigerator on a UPS or solar?+

Yes, and it’s common in Pakistan. An inverter refrigerator is the better choice because its compressor draws a lower, smoother current instead of a hard start-up surge. Size the UPS for the fridge’s starting load, not its running load — a unit that hums along at 150 W can spike several times that for a moment when the compressor kicks in. Check the wattage on the product page before you match it to your backup.

Why is water collecting at the bottom of my fridge?+

Almost always a blocked defrost drain. Food debris or ice clogs the small drain hole at the back of the fridge compartment, so meltwater that should run to the tray under the unit pools inside instead. Clearing it with warm water usually solves it. If the water is outside the fridge rather than inside, check that the unit is level and that the drip tray at the back isn’t cracked or overflowing.

Why does my refrigerator make unusual noises?+

A gentle hum or an occasional click is normal — that’s the compressor and thermostat working. Worry about a rattle (usually the unit isn’t level, or something is touching the back panel), a loud buzz that gets louder over time (fan motor), or a knocking sound at start-up (compressor mounts). No frost models also make a periodic gurgle or crackle as the defrost cycle runs, which is expected.

Can I put hot food directly into the refrigerator?+

No. Let it cool close to room temperature first. Hot food raises the internal temperature of the whole compartment, makes the compressor run far longer than it should, and pushes other food through the unsafe temperature range. Don’t leave it out longer than about two hours, though — cool it quickly in a shallow dish, then refrigerate.

How often should I clean or defrost my refrigerator?+

Clean the interior and wipe the door seals every 2–3 months, and brush the condenser coils at the back at least twice a year — dust on the coils is the single most common cause of poor cooling we see in Peshawar homes. A no frost fridge defrosts itself. A direct cool model needs manual defrosting once the frost layer reaches roughly 3–5 mm, or it starts eating electricity.

Where should I place a refrigerator, and how much clearance does it need?+

Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from the cooking range, oven or any heat source, and leave a few inches of clearance at the back and sides so the coils can shed heat. A fridge crammed into a tight alcove works harder and costs more to run. After moving a fridge, stand it upright for a few hours before plugging it in so the compressor oil settles.

How long does a refrigerator last, and what does the warranty cover?+

A well-maintained fridge typically runs 10–15 years, and the compressor is usually the part that decides its life. That’s why compressor warranty matters more than the general warranty: most models we carry come with 1 year general cover plus 10 or 12 years on the compressor. Every unit at AYS Online is 100% original with the official manufacturer warranty, valid across Pakistan — the exact terms are listed on each product page.
