WF692 plates, power and design

It has a 2-slice capacity, right for one or two people at a time. The heating plates run on 800W. Adjustable temperature control lets you set the heat for thin or thick sandwiches. The cool-touch handle stays comfortable to hold while the plates heat. Non-stick plates let toasted bread lift off cleanly and wipe clean with a damp cloth. It stands upright for storage, saving space in a small kitchen cupboard.

Tips for even, crisp results

Lightly butter the outer sides of the bread for even browning, and keep the filling in the middle of the slice so the edges seal properly. After use, unplug the machine, let it cool, then wipe the plates with a damp cloth. Use a wooden or plastic spatula so the plate surface is not scratched.
