What the 635A offers
Rated power
A 1400W heating element for everyday pressing of household clothes.
Non-stick soleplate
The soleplate is listed as non-stick, to help it glide over the fabric.
Dry ironing
No steam system or water tank, so there is nothing to fill or empty.
The WestPoint 635A is a 1400W dry iron with a non-stick soleplate, finished in green. WestPoint 635A price in Pakistan at AYS Online is Rs. 10,000, and it comes with a 2-year official brand warranty. It suits households that want a straightforward iron for everyday cotton, lawn and shalwar kameez without a water tank to fill.
A simple 1400W dry iron
A dry iron heats the soleplate and presses the cloth without steam, so there is no tank to fill and no water to empty after use. The 635A is rated at 1400W, and its non-stick soleplate is meant to help it glide over fabric rather than drag. For stubborn creases on a dry iron, many people lightly dampen the cloth before pressing.
Matching heat to the fabric
Check the care label inside each garment first. Start synthetics at a low setting and work up to cotton, which takes more heat. Sorting clothes by fabric before you start means less waiting for the soleplate to cool.
