The WestPoint WF672 Deluxe Lite is a 1000W lightweight dry iron with a non-stick coated soleplate, finished in black. The WestPoint WF672 price in Pakistan at AYS Online is Rs. 9,000, with a 2-year official brand warranty, for quick everyday pressing of cotton, lawn and school uniforms.
A light dry iron for quick pressing
A lite iron is easy to lift and move, which suits quick touch-ups and family members who find a heavy iron tiring. The non-stick coated soleplate glides over fabric and wipes clean once cold.
A dry iron has no steam system, so there is no tank to fill, no scale to clean and nothing to drip on the ironing board. That simplicity is why many Pakistani homes keep one for daily shalwar kameez and school uniforms. For stubborn creases on cotton, a light mist from a spray bottle before pressing does the job.
An iron or steamer is one of the heaviest electrical loads in a home. Most household UPS units are not built for a load like this, so plan ironing for when mains power is on rather than during load-shedding.
Caring for the soleplate
Clean the soleplate only when the iron is cold, using a soft damp cloth. Avoid metal scrapers and abrasive pads, which can damage a coated surface. Iron delicate fabrics first at a lower heat, then move to cotton and linen.
