Description

Gree Refrigerator GR-E8890G-CR4 Everest Price & Review (16 Cubic Feet, Low Voltage 125V)

💡 The Shopkeeper’s Verdict:
If you are buying for a bigger family and your voltage keeps dropping, the Gree GR-E8890G-CR4 Everest is the one I point customers to. It gives you a roomy 445 Litres (16 Cubic Feet) and keeps working at voltage as low as 125V. Compared with a basic fridge of this size, you also get 5-Way Evaporator cooling, a 4 Star rating and a humidity-control crisper, which are features you normally pay extra for.

Best For: Families of 5-6 people, weekly bulk shopping & homes with unstable voltage.
Current Price: Rs. 115,500

Why Choose Gree GR-E8890G-CR4 Everest?

⚡ Low Voltage Operation (125V)

Voltage drops on summer evenings are the biggest killer of fridge compressors. This Everest keeps running as low as 125V, so you do not have to worry every time the lights dim. Together with the Climate Class T build for tropical heat, it is made for our conditions.

🥬 Fresher Sabzi with Humidity Control

The crisper has humidity control and a honeycomb cover, so fruit and vegetables last longer in our dry summers. The bigger crisper box runs on wheels, which makes it easy to pull out when it is full of weekly shopping.

❄️ 5-Way Evaporator & Thicker Insulation

Cooling reaches the food from multiple directions, so new groceries chill faster. The thicker insulation helps the fridge hold its cold for longer, which is useful during load-shedding when you keep the doors closed.

A quick tip from the shop floor: low-voltage operation protects you from weak supply, but not from sudden spikes when power returns after load-shedding. Wait a few minutes before switching on, or use a time-delay stabiliser for extra protection. Explore more in our Gree Refrigerator collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the price of Gree GR-E8890G-CR4 Everest Refrigerator?

The Gree GR-E8890G-CR4 Everest 16 cubic feet refrigerator is currently priced at Rs. 115,500.

Can this fridge run on low voltage?

Yes. It is a low-voltage model that operates at voltage as low as 125V, which suits areas where the supply drops in the evening.

Which family size is a 16 cubic feet fridge good for?

At 445 Litres, it suits a family of 5 to 6 people and has room for weekly shopping, milk, fruit and cooked food. For a joint family buying meat in bulk, consider pairing a fridge with a deep freezer.

Do I still need a stabiliser?

Not for weak voltage, but a stabiliser with a time delay is still a good idea if your area gets voltage spikes when electricity returns after load-shedding.

What does the humidity control crisper do?

It helps keep moisture around fruit and vegetables so they stay fresh for longer. The honeycomb cover and the bigger crisper box on wheels also make it easy to store and pull out large loads.

How long will the fridge stay cold during load-shedding?

The thicker insulation helps it hold its cold. Keep the doors closed during a power cut, and avoid opening the fridge unless you need to.

What warranty does the Gree GR-E8890G-CR4 come with?

It comes with a 10-year compressor warranty and a 1-year general warranty . Every fridge sold by AYS Online is 100% original with the official manufacturer warranty, valid across Pakistan.
