40 litre tank
Holds 40 litres of water, a size that suits a small family sharing one bathroom.
2000W heating element
The element is rated at 2000 watts, so plan wiring and any backup power around that load.
Runs on electricity
Hot water does not depend on gas line pressure, which often drops on cold winter mornings.
ELCB protection
An earth leakage circuit breaker cuts the supply if it senses current leaking to earth.
Official brand warranty
Backed by a 1-year official brand warranty.
The Boss KE-SIE-50CL Supreme Steel is a 40 litre electric geyser with a 2000W heating element in a white finish, fitted with an ELCB. The Boss KE-SIE-50CL price in Pakistan at AYS Online is Rs. 37,000, and it comes with a 1-year official brand warranty. It suits a small family sharing one bathroom, and as an electric geyser it does not rely on gas line pressure on cold winter mornings.
Is 40 litres the right size for you?
As a general guide, a tank of this size suits a small family sharing one bathroom, where showers are taken one after another rather than all at once. A bigger tank stores more hot water between heating cycles, while a smaller one empties sooner if showers run long. If two bathrooms need hot water at the same moment, any single tank is shared between them.
What the ELCB adds
This geyser has an ELCB (earth leakage circuit breaker). In general, an ELCB cuts the supply when it senses current leaking to earth, an added layer of protection for an appliance that combines water and electricity. It works alongside, not instead of, proper earthing in your home wiring.
Power, load-shedding and UPS
An electric geyser heats only while it has power, so during load-shedding the element stops and the water already in the tank slowly cools. A 2000W load is heavy for most home UPS units, so check your UPS or solar inverter rating before connecting it, and have an electrician fit a properly earthed socket and wiring suited to the load.
