WestPoint 2063 Steam Iron, 2200W, Non-Stick Soleplate, 180 ml Tank, Black and Red

The WestPoint 2063 is a 2200W steam iron with a non-stick coated soleplate and a 180 ml water tank, finished in black and red. The WestPoint 2063 price in Pakistan at AYS Online is Rs. 12,200, with a 2-year official brand warranty, for daily pressing of cotton suits, office shirts and bedsheets.

Steam, spray and dry in one iron

The iron works in spray, steam and dry modes, so one appliance covers delicate synthetics, everyday lawn and thick cotton. Steam flows horizontally and vertically, letting you refresh hanging shirts and curtains. An anti-drip system helps prevent water spotting at lower heat, an anti-calc system helps reduce scale build-up, and auto shut-off switches the iron off when it is left unattended. The temperature is adjustable, and the non-stick coated soleplate glides over fabric.

An iron or steamer is one of the heaviest electrical loads in a home. Most household UPS units are not built for a load like this, so plan ironing for when mains power is on rather than during load-shedding.

Looking after the iron

Clean the soleplate only when the iron is cold, using a soft damp cloth. Avoid metal scrapers and abrasive pads, which can damage a coated surface. Iron delicate fabrics first at a lower heat, then move to cotton and linen.

Where tap water is hard, filtered or boiled-and-cooled water helps slow scale build-up inside a steam iron. Empty the tank after use and store the iron upright once it has cooled.
