Water dispenser prices at a glance
A water dispenser gives you cold, hot and normal water from a large bottle, and most models in Pakistan now add a small fridge compartment underneath. What you pay depends mostly on the number of taps, the fridge, and whether the bottle loads on top or hides at the bottom. Two-tap models are the most affordable, three-tap models with a fridge are the most popular, and bottom-load and digital models sit at the top.
“Typical” is the middle price among all models. Every figure on this page updates daily.
Water dispenser prices by type
What each type costs today. A model can appear in more than one row, for example a 3 tap dispenser with a fridge.
| Type | Price range | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 2 taps | Rs. 31,200 – Rs. 45,000 | Hot and cold, or normal and cold water |
| 3 taps | Rs. 34,000 – Rs. 55,000 | Hot, cold and normal water from one machine |
| With fridge | Rs. 31,200 – Rs. 55,000 | Cold drinks, fruit and snacks beside the dispenser |
| Without fridge | Rs. 36,400 – Rs. 49,100 | Just water, in less space |
2 taps or 3, top load or bottom load?
2 taps
Usually hot and cold, or normal and cold. Enough for a small family or an office pantry, and the most affordable.
Best for: small homes and offices.
3 taps
Hot, cold and normal water from one machine, so everyone gets the water they want, from tea to cold water in summer. The most popular choice.
Best for: family homes.
With fridge
A small refrigerator compartment, usually around 16 to 20 litres, for soft drinks, fruit or milk. Handy in a lounge, bedroom or office.
Best for: a second fridge in the lounge.
Bottom load
The bottle sits hidden inside the lower cabinet, so there is no heavy lifting onto the top. Dawlance’s DBD models work this way.
Best for: homes where lifting a 19 litre bottle is hard.
Refrigerator cabinet or storage cabinet?
Check the lower door before you buy. On most dispensers here it is a small refrigerator cooled by the same compressor as the cold water, but a few models have a plain cabinet that only stores cups and tea bags. Each product page says which, and you can filter this page for models with a fridge or without a fridge.
How big is it?
Around 16 to 20 litres: EcoStar lists 16 litres on the WD-300F and WD-302F, and Super Asia and Varioline list 20 litres. That holds a few bottles or cans of drink, some fruit or a lunch box.
What it is good for
Cold drinks, fruit and snacks in a lounge, bedroom or office, so you do not walk to the kitchen fridge.
What it is not for
Insulin and medicines that must stay at 2 to 8 °C need a proper fridge that holds a steady temperature. A dispenser compartment is not designed for that.
Bottom load or top load?
A full 19 litre bottle weighs about 19 kg, and lifting it upside down onto a top-load dispenser is hard for elderly parents and anyone with back trouble. A bottom-load dispenser, such as the Dawlance DBD-1034 and DBD-1035, hides the bottle in the lower cabinet instead.
| Top load | Bottom load | |
|---|---|---|
| Fitting a bottle | Lift and turn the bottle onto the top | Slide the bottle into the cabinet and insert the probe |
| How water reaches the taps | Gravity | A small electric pump |
| During load shedding | Taps still pour by gravity; the water is just not chilled or heated | No water until power returns, unless it is on a UPS |
| Look | Bottle visible on top | Bottle hidden, neater in a lounge or office |
| Price | Lower | Higher |
Hot water, tea and child safety
2 taps or 3?
A 2 tap dispenser gives hot and cold, or on some models normal and cold. A 3 tap dispenser adds a separate normal, room-temperature tap, which many people prefer for drinking and for medicine.
Hot enough for tea?
Most compressor dispensers heat water to roughly 85 to 95 °C: hot enough for tea bags, green tea and instant coffee, though not boiling. For doodh patti on the stove, it still saves time.
Child safety
Most hot taps have a push-in safety catch. Orient lists a child lock on the Marvel 3 and Velvet 3. In homes with small children, keep the lock on and switch the hot tank off when nobody needs hot water.
Switch off what you do not use
Hot and cold have separate switches at the back. Turning the hot tank off in summer, and at night all year, is the easiest saving; the calculator on this page shows how much.

Features worth checking
- Compressor cooling: chills water quickly even in a hot Pakistani summer, and keeps the fridge compartment cold.
- Child safety lock: stops small hands from opening the hot tap.
- Stainless steel tanks: resist rust and are easier to keep clean.
- Separate switches: let you turn heating or cooling off when you do not need them.
- Bottle size: every dispenser here takes the standard 19 litre (5 gallon) water bottle used by home and office water suppliers.
- Glass door fridge: looks smarter in a lounge and lets you see what is inside.
- Power: cooling typically draws about 100 watts and heating about 400 to 580 watts, and both switch off once the water reaches temperature.
Electricity, UPS and the hot tank
A dispenser draws about 100 W to cool and about 400 to 580 W to heat, but only in short bursts. What adds up is keeping the tanks at temperature all day: the ENERGY STAR test figure for a conventional hot-and-cold dispenser is about 1.2 units a day, most of it for the hot tank.
On a UPS
With heating and cooling together it draws around 500 to 700 W, which a 1 kVA home UPS (about 800 W) can supply if little else is running. On battery, switch the hot tank off.
On solar
Leave both tanks on during the day and switch the heater off at night, when the power comes from the battery or the grid.
Running cost and bottle calculator
Enter your family and how you use the hot tank. Add the price you pay for a 19 litre bottle to include water.
How much electricity does your dispenser use, what does leaving the hot tank on cost, and how many 19 litre bottles will your family need?
For 5 people, about 47 units a month, roughly Rs. 2,850 to run. The hot tank is most of the bill: with heating and cooling together it draws about 550 W, which a 1 kVA home UPS (about 800 W) can supply; on battery, switch the hot tank off.
Estimates. Keeping the tanks at temperature is most of the electricity: a conventional hot-and-cold dispenser uses about 1.2 units a day on standby (ENERGY STAR test figure), about 0.85 of it for the hot tank. Cold standby is higher in summer. Each litre drawn adds about 0.07 units to reheat or 0.02 to chill. A 19 litre bottle is counted as 19 litres of drinking water.
Setting up and caring for your dispenser
Wait before switching on
After delivery, let the dispenser stand upright for a few hours so the compressor oil settles, then switch on cooling.
Fill the hot tank first
Before switching on the heating, press the hot tap until water flows, so the heater never runs dry.
Use the child lock
The hot tap can deliver water hot enough to scald. Keep the child lock on in homes with children.
Clean every few months
Drain the tanks and clean the reservoir and drip tray every few months, and wipe the bottle neck before fitting a new bottle.
Give it air
Leave a gap behind the dispenser so the cooling coil can release heat, and keep it out of direct sun.
Switch off heating when not needed
Most models have separate switches. Turn the heating off in summer and the cooling off in winter to save electricity.

Prices
What is the water dispenser price in Pakistan?
Water dispenser prices in Pakistan start from Rs. 31,200 for the cheapest 2 taps with fridge model and go up to Rs. 55,000 for the top 3 taps with fridge model, across 40 models, updated daily in October 2026. Half of all models cost between Rs. 35,650 and Rs. 41,400, which is where most 3 tap dispensers with a fridge sit.
Choosing a water dispenser
Is a 3 tap water dispenser better than a 2 tap?
For a family, usually yes. Three taps give hot, cold and normal water, so the dispenser covers tea, drinking water and cold water in summer. A 2 tap model is cheaper and enough for a small home or office.
Is a water dispenser with fridge worth it?
If you want a small second fridge in a lounge, bedroom or office, yes. The compartment, usually around 16 to 20 litres, holds drinks, fruit or snacks, and the price difference over a model without a fridge is small.
What is a bottom load water dispenser?
The water bottle sits inside the lower cabinet instead of upside down on top, so you do not have to lift a heavy 19 litre bottle. It costs more but is easier to use and looks neater.
What size bottle does a water dispenser take?
Water dispensers take the standard 19 litre (5 gallon) bottle supplied by home and office water companies. Top-load models hold the bottle upside down on top, and bottom-load models hide it in the lower cabinet.
Is a water dispenser safe with children at home?
Yes, if you choose a model with a child safety lock on the hot tap, such as several Orient models, and keep the lock on. You can also switch the heating off when you do not need hot water.
Which water dispenser brand is best in Pakistan?
Dawlance and Orient offer the widest range and a 3 year compressor warranty on many models, Super Asia and EcoStar are strong value choices, and Gree, Midas and Midea offer well-featured 3 tap models.
Using a water dispenser
How much electricity does a water dispenser use?
Cooling typically draws about 100 watts and heating about 400 to 580 watts, but both switch off once the water reaches temperature. Turning off the heating in summer and the cooling in winter saves the most.
How often should a water dispenser be cleaned?
Drain and clean the tanks, reservoir and drip tray every few months, and wipe the bottle neck each time you fit a new bottle.
Choosing a water dispenser
Is the bottom compartment of a water dispenser a real fridge?
On most models here, yes: a small refrigerator of about 16 to 20 litres cooled by the same compressor as the cold water. A few models have a plain storage cabinet instead. The product page says which, and you can filter this page for dispensers with or without a fridge.
Can I keep insulin or medicines in a water dispenser fridge?
It is not a good idea. Insulin and many medicines must stay at a steady 2 to 8 °C, and a dispenser compartment is not designed to hold that. Use it for drinks, fruit and snacks, and keep medicines in a proper fridge.
How does a bottom-load water dispenser work?
The 19 litre bottle sits in the lower cabinet with a probe inside it, and a small electric pump lifts the water to the taps. There is no heavy lifting, and the bottle is hidden.
Does a bottom-load dispenser work during load shedding?
Not without power, because its pump needs electricity; on a UPS it keeps working. A top-load dispenser still pours by gravity during a power cut, though the water is not chilled or heated.
What is the difference between a 2 tap and a 3 tap water dispenser?
A 2 tap model gives hot and cold water, or on some models normal and cold. A 3 tap model adds a separate normal, room-temperature tap alongside hot and cold.
Using a water dispenser
Is water dispenser hot water hot enough for tea?
For tea bags, green tea and instant coffee, yes. Most compressor dispensers heat water to roughly 85 to 95 °C, which is hot but not boiling.
How many units does a water dispenser use a month?
For a family of five with the hot tank on all day, roughly 45 to 50 units a month in summer, most of it for keeping the hot tank hot. Switching the hot tank off at night saves around 10 units a month, and off completely, about 30. The calculator on this page works it out for your home.
Can I run a water dispenser on a 1 kVA UPS?
Usually yes. Heating and cooling together draw around 500 to 700 W, within the roughly 800 W a 1 kVA UPS gives, if little else is running. On battery, switch the hot tank off to save charge.
How many 19 litre bottles does a family need?
A family of five drinking about 1.5 litres each a day, plus tea, gets through roughly 14 to 15 bottles a month, about 3 to 4 a week. The calculator on this page works it out for your family.
Buying from AYS
What warranty comes with a water dispenser?
Most water dispensers carry a 1 year general warranty, and many Dawlance, Orient, Gree and Midea models list a 3 year compressor warranty. The exact terms are on each product page, and every unit is 100% original.
Is delivery free, and are there charges on Cash on Delivery?
Delivery is free anywhere in Pakistan on advance payment, even a partial one, and free inside Peshawar on every payment method. Cash on Delivery orders outside Peshawar carry a delivery charge plus government taxes (2% sales tax and 2% income tax), which we confirm by phone before dispatch. Paying any advance removes both.
Can I buy a water dispenser on installments?
Yes. You can pay in installments with zero down payment using a Bank Alfalah, JS Bank or MCB credit or debit card, and the whole process happens online. Your bank’s markup applies, and Bank Alfalah plans also carry a processing fee.
