Samsung UA65CU8000 65 Inch Crystal UHD 4K Smart LED TV with HDR10+

The Samsung UA65CU8000 is a 65 inch Crystal UHD 4K Smart LED TV with the Crystal Processor 4K, Dynamic Crystal Color for a billion shades, HDR10+ support and Samsung Smart Hub on Tizen OS. It suits a family lounge that wants better contrast and colour than a basic 4K set. The UA65CU8000 costs Rs. 260,000 at AYS Online today.

HDR10+ on the UA65CU8000, and why it matters

High Dynamic Range lets a TV show brighter highlights and deeper shadows in the same scene. HDR10+ goes a step further by adjusting brightness scene by scene on supported content, rather than using one setting for a whole film. On the UA65CU8000 that means a night scene in a thriller keeps detail in the dark corners while a daylight scene still looks bright. Dynamic Crystal Color adds a billion shades on top, so colours look natural rather than overcooked.

Processing and smart features on the 65 inch CU8000

• Crystal Processor 4K: optimises each frame for clarity and colour, and helps lower-resolution channels look sharper.
• Smart Hub: streaming services, films and shows organised in one place on Tizen OS.
• HDMI ports: connect a console, set-top box or streaming device.
• Soundbar compatible: the built-in speakers handle daily viewing, and you can add a soundbar later for films.

Is the UA65CU8000 right for your lounge?

If your household watches a mix of cable, YouTube and streaming films, the CU8000 gives a clear step up in contrast and colour over entry 4K models while staying in Samsung’s Crystal UHD family. For a 65 inch screen, seating roughly 6 to 8 feet away works best. Mount it at seated eye level, and keep the cable box and console close to the HDMI ports so wiring stays short and tidy. In a very sunny room, curtains during film time will help HDR scenes look their best. HDR10+ content is offered by several streaming services, so the benefit shows up in everyday viewing, not only on discs.
