Panasonic NE-NI-M300 Steam Iron, 1800W, 210 ml Tank, Blue

The Panasonic NE-NI-M300 is an 1800W steam iron with a 210 ml water tank and a non-stick coated soleplate, finished in blue. The Panasonic NE-NI-M300 price in Pakistan at AYS Online is Rs. 14,500, with a 1-year official brand warranty, for everyday pressing of cotton suits, office shirts and school uniforms.

Steam ironing for everyday clothes

At 1800W the iron heats up briskly, and steam helps creases release from cotton and lawn with fewer passes. The 210 ml tank keeps the iron compact. An anti-drip system helps stop water spotting the fabric at lower temperatures, and an anti-calc system helps reduce scale build-up, which matters where tap water is hard. The non-stick coated soleplate glides over fabric and wipes clean once cold.

An iron or steamer is one of the heaviest electrical loads in a home. Most household UPS units are not built for a load like this, so plan ironing for when mains power is on rather than during load-shedding.

Looking after the iron

Clean the soleplate only when the iron is cold, using a soft damp cloth. Avoid metal scrapers and abrasive pads, which can scratch the surface. Iron delicate fabrics first at a lower heat, then move to cotton and linen.

Where tap water is hard, filling the tank with filtered or boiled-and-cooled water helps slow scale build-up inside any steam appliance. Empty the tank after use and store the unit upright once it has cooled.
