The Ocean WDC-222 is a 40 litre portable room cooler that runs on 12 volt DC and is solar compatible, with an ice box and a white and golden plastic body. Ocean WDC-222 price in Pakistan at AYS Online is Rs. 22,000, and it carries a 1 year official brand warranty. It is a practical way to move cooler air around a room through the hot, dry months.
Is a 40 litre room cooler right for your room?
A 40 litre tank is a sensible size for a bedroom or a small room, and it is light enough to refill without much effort. An evaporative cooler draws warm room air through wet pads. The water that evaporates takes heat with it, so the air coming out of the fan feels cooler. It works best in the dry heat of early summer. In humid monsoon weather the effect is weaker, so keep a door or window slightly open so fresh air can move through the room.
Running the Ocean WDC-222 on battery or solar
This cooler runs on a 12V DC supply, so it can work straight from a battery during load-shedding. It is solar compatible as well. For battery or solar use, the panel and battery need to match the cooler’s power draw, so share your setup with our team before ordering. Use clean water, rinse the tank every few days in peak season and wash the pads before summer starts so they stay fresh.
