Why the white ND-81 works for daily ironing
Ceramic soleplate
Smooth, non-stick glide with even heat for lawn and synthetics.
Quick heat
Reaches pressing temperature sooner than typical 1000W dry irons.
Easy-grip handle
Anti-slip, comfortable hold for long ironing sessions.
Indicator light
Shows at a glance that the iron is on and heating.
The white National ND-81 is a 1200W dry iron with a ceramic non-stick soleplate, an easy-grip anti-slip handle, an indicator light and auto shut-off. With no steam system to maintain, it is a straightforward daily iron for cotton and lawn suits, school uniforms and office shirts. You can order this ND-81 from AYS Online at Rs. 7,800, with a 1-year warranty.
Why the ND-81’s ceramic plate is worth having
Old-style irons with bare metal plates tend to drag on synthetics and can leave a shine on dark fabric. The ND-81’s ceramic coating gives a smooth, non-stick glide with even heat across the plate, which is kinder to printed lawn, chiffon and silk blends. It also wipes clean easily once cool, so starch residue does not build up.
To keep the coating in good condition, avoid ironing directly over metal zips, hooks and studs.
A dry iron for everyday use
- 1200W element: heats a little faster than the common 1000W dry irons and keeps heat on thick cotton.
- Easy-grip handle: anti-slip and comfortable through a long ironing session.
- Indicator light: a simple reminder that the iron is powered and heating.
- Auto shut-off: listed among its safety features.
- Lightweight: no water tank, so the iron is easy to lift and store.
Which ND-81 is this?
National sells more than one ND-81. This page is the white ND-81 with a ceramic soleplate. There is also a separate “Premium Imported” ND-81 listed in golden and grey with a non-stick coated plate. Check the colour and plate type before you order so you get the version you want.
For best results, start with fabrics that need low heat, then turn the dial up for cotton and linen; a light spray of water helps on stubborn creases.
Because there is no tank, the ND-81 is ready the moment it heats. That makes it handy for a quick press of a school uniform before the van arrives or a shirt for an office meeting, without waiting for steam or worrying about drips.

I ordered this for my family and was waiting to see how it arrives. I prepaid the full amount, which qualified my Bahawalpur order for free shipping. It looks the same as shown in the listing. Not the fastest order I have received, but it was acceptable. It is good not to see another fee after reaching checkout. Good enough for me.
