A day of cooking with the HD-626

In a joint family kitchen a blender rarely does one job. A typical day with the HD-626 might look like this:

• Morning: a jug of banana milkshake or lassi for the children.
• Afternoon: onion and tomato blended into a smooth base for a large pot of qorma.
• Evening: daal or vegetable soup pureed in the pot after cooking.

The 1000W motor gives room to work through these back to back, but on thick food let it rest briefly between batches. That habit keeps any hand blender motor healthy.

Why the HD-626 uses a button lock

A powerful motor and a sharp cross-blending blade call for a careful start. The HD-626 uses a button locking design rather than a simple on switch, adding a step that prevents the blender from starting by mistake. Use the two speeds sensibly: start on the lower one with the blade submerged, then step up.

Stainless steel where it counts

Both the blade and the full blending shaft are stainless steel. That means no plastic stem to stain yellow with haldi, nothing to soften when you blend hot food in the pot off the flame, and a surface that rinses clean after oily gravies. The chrome decoration plate on the body completes a smart silver-and-black look.

After each use, rinse the shaft under running water while the food is still soft, and wipe the motor body with a damp cloth. Never dip the body in water. These small habits keep a heavy-duty blender working well through daily cooking.
