Sized for chicken, fish and family fries
With a 6.5 litre basket listed for four to six people, it handles family portions. AYS staff list it as best for chicken and meats, fish and seafood, and fries and snacks, so it fits everything from Friday fish to an evening plate of nuggets. Lay food in a single, even layer and shake the basket halfway through cooking for even crisping.
Manual controls with auto shut-off
A mechanical timer and thermostat set the cook, and auto shut-off is listed, so the fryer stops heating when the timer ends. Overheat protection is also listed. At 1600 W, it is best used on grid power rather than a small home UPS during load-shedding.
