Dry mill or wet mill on the DL-7183?

• Dry mill: whole spices, grains and coffee, for fresh garam masala or zeera powder.
• Wet mill: sauces and pastes such as ginger-garlic, imli chutney and tomato puree.
• Main 1.2 litre jar: juices, shakes and lassi for three or four people.

Chopping and mixing with 1-2-3 processing

National calls the speed layout 1-2-3 processing: three settings plus pulse. Use it to chop onions, mix batter or grind meat for kebabs. The copper motor and stainless steel blades are built for regular kitchen use; cut meat into small pieces and work in batches.

The 1.2 litre plastic jar is light to lift and pour. Rinse the jar and the wet mill soon after making haldi-based masala so the colour does not settle into the plastic, and dry the dry mill fully before storing it.
