Google TV on a 32 inch H32K85GX

The H32K85GX runs official Google TV, so YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video and the Google Play Store sit on one organised home screen with recommendations. The Bluetooth remote carries Google Assistant, so you can say a drama name or a match instead of typing it, and the remote works without pointing it at the TV. Chromecast built-in lets you send video from an Android phone or tablet straight to the screen.

Sound and hardware inside the H32K85GX

• 20W dual speakers with Dolby Audio: clear dialogue for dramas and loud enough for cricket without an external speaker.
• ARM Cortex-A55 with Mali-G31 GPU: runs the Google TV interface and apps.
• 1.5GB RAM, 8GB storage: room for the common streaming apps.
• HD panel, 1366 x 768: clean for a 32 inch screen viewed from a bed or sofa.

Connections and power on the H32K85GX

Three HDMI ports cover a dish receiver, a console and a laptop at the same time, and two USB ports take flash drives. Wi-Fi and Ethernet are both there, so a cable from the router is an option when Wi-Fi is weak.

The TV is rated for a 100–240V input range, which covers normal household voltage swings. At 5.1 kg, it is light enough for a simple wall bracket in a bedroom, kitchen or shop.

The bezel-less frame makes the most of the 32 inch screen, so it looks larger than older 32 inch sets with thick borders.

Who is the H32K85GX for? A small family, a couple or a bedroom where a 32 inch screen is enough but you want a real Google TV experience, decent sound and enough ports.
