Haier HMN-62MX80 Solo Series Microwave Oven, 62 Litre, Digital Control, Black

The Haier HMN-62MX80 is a 62 litre microwave from Haier’s Solo Series, finished in black, with 900W of heating power, digital touch controls, speed and weight defrost and an eco mode that reduces power consumption. Its oversized cavity takes large casseroles, tall containers or several items at once, so it suits joint families. It costs Rs. 50,000 at AYS Online today, with a one-year official Haier warranty.

What fits inside the HMN-62MX80

Sixty-two litres is roughly three times the cavity of a common 20 litre microwave. In a joint family, that changes how you use it:

• reheat the evening salan in its serving dish instead of portioning it out,
• warm two or three items together when guests arrive,
• fit taller containers and large casseroles that will not go into a standard microwave.

The 900W output is a practical match for the size: enough to heat a full dish, though very large loads naturally take longer than a single plate.

Defrosting and controls on the HMN-62MX80

Speed defrost gives a quick thaw, while weight defrost lets you enter the weight of the frozen food and the oven sets the defrosting time and power for you. That is handy for a bulk pack of chicken or mutton bought for the week.

The digital touch controls set cooking time and power levels precisely. Eco mode reduces power consumption, and Haier says it does so without compromising cooking performance, a small help for households watching their electricity bills.

A large solo, not a grill

As part of the Solo Series, the HMN-62MX80 reheats, cooks and defrosts with microwaves only. It does not grill, brown or bake. Buy it for capacity, not for crisping.

A 62 litre oven also has a large body, so check your counter space and leave room around the sides and top for ventilation. Wipe spills from the cavity while it is still warm and they lift off far more easily.
