What the H32D2M does well
Simple non-smart TV
No apps or accounts to manage, which suits elders, kitchens, guest rooms and shop counters.
Miracast sharing
Mirror a compatible phone wirelessly to show videos and photos on the bigger screen.
Automatic volume levelling
Keeps loudness steady between channels and advert breaks, so you are not reaching for the remote.
24W speakers
Enough built-in volume for a bedroom or small lounge without an extra speaker.
HDMI and USB
Connect a dish receiver or laptop by HDMI and play your own videos from a USB drive.
The Haier H32D2M is a 32 inch non-smart LED TV for people who want a plain, dependable screen for cable, a dish receiver or videos on a USB drive. It adds Miracast screen sharing from a phone, 24W built-in speakers and automatic volume levelling, with a 2-year official warranty. The H32D2M costs Rs. 44,500 at AYS Online today.
Who is the H32D2M meant for?
Not every room needs apps and accounts. A kitchen, a guest room, a shop counter or the TV your parents watch the news on is often better served by a set that simply turns on to the channel. The H32D2M has no smart operating system, so there are no app updates, no passwords to remember and nothing for a child to wander into. You plug in the cable or the dish receiver, pick an input and watch.
The flat 32 inch panel has a slim bezel, which keeps it neat on a wall or a small table. At this size it sits comfortably in a bedroom or a lounge corner viewed from a few feet away.
Getting phone videos onto the H32D2M without a smart platform
Miracast is the useful trick here. Many Android phones can mirror their screen wirelessly to a Miracast display, so a YouTube clip, wedding photos or a video call recording can go on the big screen without any cable. Whether your particular phone supports it depends on the handset, so check its cast or screen-mirroring menu.
For your own files, the USB port plays videos straight from a flash drive, which is handy for downloaded dramas or family videos.
Sound and connections on the H32D2M
- 24W built-in speakers give enough volume for a living room without adding a separate speaker.
- Automatic volume levelling keeps the loudness steady, so an advert break does not suddenly blast louder than the drama you were watching.
- HDMI input connects a dish receiver, laptop or game console, and the HDMI ARC port can feed a soundbar if you want fuller sound later.
- USB playback for videos and photos from a flash drive.
If you later want streaming apps, you can add a streaming stick through HDMI instead of replacing the TV.
