Spinning Clean on the HCH-7521GN, explained

Tarka, karahi and deep frying leave a sticky layer of grease inside a hood within weeks, and it collects on the impeller, the wheel that pulls the air. Once it builds up, suction drops and the motor works harder. The HCH-7521GN answers this with Spinning Clean and an auto clean function: the impeller is spun so grease is thrown off into the oil collector instead of staying on the blades. You still wash the black flat filter by hand, but the inside of the hood needs far less scrubbing.

Where 1320 m³/h and Boost help

A 1320 m³/h airflow rating sits at the stronger end for a 75 cm hood. In a Pakistani kitchen that matters when onions are browning for biryani, when chargha is frying, or when a karahi is smoking on a high flame. The controls let you match the fan to the moment:

• Speed 1: simmering daal or haleem.
• Speed 2 and 3: everyday salan and bhunai.
• Boost: the short burst of smoke when the tarka hits the pan.

The rated 68 dB noise level comes from an AC motor, and you can switch between speeds with a touch or a wave of the hand, so atta-covered fingers never need to touch the panel.

Does the 75 cm HCH-7521GN fit your stove?

Pick a hood at least as wide as the cooking surface. The HCH-7521GN is 75 cm wide, so it suits 60 cm and 75 cm hobs and the compact two- and three-burner stoves found in many apartments and smaller kitchens. If your stove is wider than 75 cm, a 90 cm hood will catch smoke from the outer burners better. Check that the wall above the hob leaves room for the chimney before you order.
