TCL 65T6D 4K QLED Google TV – 65 Inch – Dolby Audio – Dolby Vision – HDR10+

The TCL 65T6D is a 65 inch 4K QLED Google TV with quantum dot colour, Dolby Vision and HDR10+, the AiPQ Processor, Dolby Atmos on 2.0CH speakers and HDMI 2.1, in a bezel-less metallic frame. It brings QLED to a large drawing room or open-plan living area at the size where the difference over standard LED is easiest to see. The 65T6D costs Rs. 198,000 at AYS Online today.

Sitting distance for the 65T6D

For a 65 inch 4K TV, roughly 8 to 13 feet is a comfortable viewing distance. In a large drawing room the sofa often sits 10 to 12 feet from the wall, right in that range, and at that distance the 4K detail is clearly visible without the screen feeling overwhelming. The quantum dot panel also holds its colour for family members sitting at the sides.

QLED and HDR on a 65 inch canvas

On a screen this large, the gap between QLED and standard LED is more obvious. Quantum dots give a richer and more accurate colour range, while Dolby Vision and HDR10+ keep dark scenes from losing detail and bright outdoor shots from looking washed out. The AiPQ Processor optimises picture and audio together, so cable, USB and streaming sources each get suitable settings.

Ready for consoles, headphones and apps

• HDMI 2.1 keeps current consoles and high-bandwidth devices compatible.
• Bluetooth 5.4 gives a stable link to wireless headphones, soundbars and game controllers.
• USB 3.0 plays large 4K video files from a drive without stutter.
• Google TV with voice control, Chromecast built in and Wi-Fi 5 for streaming.

Dolby Atmos through the 2.0CH speakers gives films and sport a fuller soundstage; you can always add a soundbar later. The bezel-less metallic frame looks close to frameless on the wall.

For a joint family that gathers in one large room, the 65T6D balances picture, sound and connections well without stepping up to a Mini LED set.
