TCL 65P8L QD-MiniLED Google TV – 65 Inch 4K – Dolby Vision – Onkyo 2.1 Hi-Fi

The TCL 65P8L is a 65 inch QD-MiniLED 4K Google TV with a native 144Hz panel, Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+, an HVA panel, the AiPQ Pro Processor and an Onkyo 2.1 Hi-Fi system with Dolby Atmos. It is meant for large drawing rooms, joint families and anyone who wants the big screen to be the centrepiece of the house. The 65P8L costs Rs. 246,000 at AYS Online today.

How the 65P8L’s local dimming looks on a big screen

QD-MiniLED places thousands of tiny LEDs behind the panel, grouped into zones that dim independently, with quantum dots handling colour. On a 65 inch canvas this matters more than on smaller sets: a dark sky and a bright sun can appear in the same frame at their own true intensity. Dolby Vision IQ also reads the room’s light, deepening blacks when the lights go off and lifting brightness in a sunny afternoon lounge. The HVA panel keeps colour steady for guests sitting at the sides.

The 65P8L for gamers

A native 144Hz refresh rate is more noticeable on 65 inches than on smaller screens, because motion covers more distance. HDMI 2.1 suits current consoles, and TCL Ai can switch to a game mode when a console is detected, cutting input lag. For FIFA, Call of Duty or Tekken players, that combination makes the 65P8L feel quick and fluid.

Sound to match a 65 inch picture

• Onkyo 2.1 Hi-Fi with a dedicated woofer for real bass in films and matches.
• Dolby Atmos processing for a wider soundstage in an open drawing room.
• AiPQ Pro Processor optimises picture and sound together, so they stay in sync.

A 65 inch screen fits best when the sofa is around 8 to 13 feet away. The set is VESA wall mount compatible; use a heavy-duty bracket rated for this size. Bluetooth 5.4, USB 3.0 and Wi-Fi 5 cover headphones, drives and streaming.
