AC Price in Pakistan – October 2026

Prices updated 19 Oct 2026191 in-stock models15 brands

AC price in Pakistan starts at Rs. 82,000 and goes up to Rs. 588,000, updated daily in October 2026. Compare live air conditioner prices across 191 in-stock models from 15 brands. The price depends mostly on size, inverter type, T3 or T1 compressor and brand.

AC prices in Pakistan at a glance

  • Size sets the price: a 1 ton inverter split costs the least, 1.5 ton is the size most homes buy, and 2 ton and floor standing units cost the most.
  • Inverter is now normal: almost every AC we sell is an inverter AC, because it uses far fewer units on long summer nights.
  • T3 for real heat: a T3 compressor keeps cooling at about 52°C outside, while a T1 unit is designed for about 43°C.
  • One unit, two seasons: most inverter models also heat in winter, so the same AC can replace a heater.
  • Long compressor cover: most brands give 10 years on the compressor, and some give 12 years.
  • Delivery: free in Peshawar on every order, and free anywhere in Pakistan when you pay in advance, even partly.

AC price in Pakistan by ton

Tonnage is cooling power, not weight. Choose the size by room first, then compare prices. Tap a size to see every model in it.

Live Air Conditioner prices in Pakistan by AC size
AC size Price range today Best for
0.75 ton AC Rs. 82,000 to Rs. 82,000 A very small room, cabin or study
1 ton AC Rs. 100,000 to Rs. 175,000 Bedrooms up to about 150 sq ft, like a 12 by 12 room
1.5 ton AC Rs. 115,000 to Rs. 249,700 Rooms of about 150 to 250 sq ft, the most common choice
2 ton AC Rs. 180,000 to Rs. 310,000 Lounges and drawing rooms of about 250 to 350 sq ft
4 ton AC Rs. 588,000 to Rs. 588,000 Halls, showrooms and offices of about 500 to 700 sq ft

To work out your room, multiply length by width in feet. A 12 by 14 foot room is 168 sq ft, so it needs a 1.5 ton AC. Add half a ton if the room is under the roof or faces the afternoon sun.

Inverter AC Price in Pakistan

Inverter AC prices in Pakistan run from Rs. 82,000 to Rs. 588,000 today. An inverter air conditioner slows its compressor down once the room reaches the set temperature, instead of switching fully on and off every few minutes.

That is why the AC inverter price in Pakistan is a little higher than an old fixed-speed unit, and why it is still the better buy. If you run your AC for more than three or four hours a day, the saving on units covers the difference over time. The room also stays at a steady temperature, without the hot and cold swings of an old AC.

DC inverter AC price in Pakistan

A full DC inverter AC costs Rs. 112,000 to Rs. 588,000. In a DC inverter AC, the compressor and both fans run on variable-speed DC motors. It uses a little less power and runs quieter than a standard inverter. Choose one if the AC will run all night, every night, or if you plan to run it on solar.

Best inverter AC in Pakistan: how to judge one

The best inverter AC in Pakistan is the one that fits your room, your city and your power supply. A famous logo on the wrong size will still cost you more in bills. Before you compare brands, check these four things on the product page.

  • Climate class: T3 if you live in the plains or the outdoor unit sits in hot sun.
  • Rated input in watts: a lower number at the same tonnage means a smaller bill.
  • Low voltage operation: it matters wherever voltage drops on summer evenings.
  • Compressor warranty: the compressor is the costly part, so a longer cover is worth having.

Split AC Price in Pakistan

A split AC costs Rs. 82,000 to Rs. 300,000 in Pakistan today. A split air conditioner has two parts: the indoor unit on the wall and an outdoor unit that holds the compressor. Because the noisy part sits outside, a split is quiet enough for a bedroom. It is the right type for almost every bedroom, lounge and small office.

Split, window, portable or floor standing AC?

For most homes the answer is a wall-mounted split. Here is how the other types compare, so you can decide in a minute.

  • Window AC: one box fits into an opening in the wall. It is simple to fit, but louder than a split because the compressor sits in the same box, inside the window.
  • Portable AC: it rolls from room to room and pushes hot air out through a pipe in the window. It suits a rented room or short-term use, but cools a smaller area for the same power.
  • Floor standing AC: a tall cabinet unit that throws air across a hall, shop or big drawing room. See our floor standing AC prices.

This page lists split and floor standing ACs. If you are comparing a window AC price or a portable AC price in Pakistan with a split, compare the running cost too, not just the tag.

T3 or T1 AC: which one do you need?

T3 ACs cost Rs. 103,500 to Rs. 588,000 today. T1 and T3 are climate classes. A T1 unit is designed for outdoor heat up to about 43°C, and a T3 unit keeps cooling up to about 52°C.

In Peshawar, Multan, Lahore, Karachi, Sukkur or Jacobabad, 45°C is a normal June afternoon, so choose T3. In Islamabad, Murree, Abbottabad, Swat or Quetta, a T1 unit is properly rated and costs less. One exception: if the outdoor unit sits in a closed balcony or a narrow light well, it breathes its own hot air, so take T3 in any city.

How to choose the right AC: step by step

  1. Measure the room. Up to 150 sq ft needs 1 ton, 150 to 250 sq ft needs 1.5 ton, and 250 to 350 sq ft needs 2 ton. Bigger halls need a floor standing unit.
  2. Add for heat. Go half a ton up for a top-floor room, a west-facing wall, big windows or more than four people.
  3. Pick the climate class. T3 for the plains and hot rooftops, T1 for the hills.
  4. Choose the technology. Inverter for everyday use, full DC inverter if the AC runs all night or on solar.
  5. Check your power. If voltage drops in your area, look for low voltage operation. If you use a UPS or solar, look for an ampere lock or power limit.
  6. Decide on extras. Heat and cool, Wi-Fi control and self-cleaning are useful. Do not pay for features you will not use.
  7. Compare price and warranty. Use the tables above, then check each model’s price history before you order.

Energy efficient air conditioners and your electricity bill

An energy efficient air conditioner is one that gives the same cooling for fewer units. In practice that means an inverter or full DC inverter model with a low rated input in watts.

As a rough summer estimate, a 1.5 ton inverter AC set to 26°C uses about 0.8 units an hour once the room is cool. Eight hours a night comes to roughly 190 units a month. An old non-inverter 1.5 ton AC uses about 1.5 units an hour, or roughly 360 units a month. Each degree you set lower adds to the bill, so 26°C with the fan on auto is the sweet spot for most homes.

Running an AC on UPS, generator or solar

An inverter AC starts gently, so it suits backup power far better than an old AC. If you run it on a UPS, a generator or solar, look for an ampere lock or power limit setting. It caps how much current the AC draws so the backup can keep up. Some Haier models are sold as UPS enabled for this reason.

For daytime solar, allow roughly 2 kW of panels or more for one 1.5 ton inverter AC, alongside your other loads. Solar-compatible models are listed in our solar AC range . At night the AC needs the grid or a battery bank, like any other inverter AC.

AC care tips that keep it cooling

  • Wash the filters every two to four weeks in summer. A dusty filter is the most common reason an AC stops cooling well.
  • Service it before summer. Have the indoor and outdoor coils washed once or twice a year.
  • Shade the outdoor unit from direct afternoon sun, and never box it in.
  • Protect the PCB. Good wiring or a stabilizer helps where voltage spikes are common.
  • Close doors and curtains. A closed room cools faster and lets an inverter AC run slowly.

Which AC brand is best in Pakistan?

There is no single best brand. Dawlance, Orient, Haier, Gree and TCL offer the widest choice of inverter ACs at every budget. EcoStar is a strong value pick, Kenwood and Midea offer well-featured models, and Samsung, LG and Panasonic sit at the premium end. Pick the right size and climate class first, then choose between two or three brands on price and warranty.

AC Price in Pakistan: FAQs

What is the AC price in Pakistan today?

In Pakistan, an AC costs between Rs. 82,000 for a Dawlance 0.75 ton inverter split AC and Rs. 588,000 for a Midea 4 ton T3 inverter floor standing AC. Prices are updated daily; 191 models are in stock as of October 2026.

Which AC size is right for a 12 by 12 room?

A 12 by 12 foot room is 144 sq ft, so a 1 ton inverter AC is the right size. Choose 1.5 ton instead if the room is on the top floor, gets strong afternoon sun or usually holds more than three people.

What does 12, 18 or 24 mean in an AC model number?

On most brands it is the cooling capacity in thousands of BTU. 12 means 1 ton, 18 means 1.5 ton and 24 means 2 ton, and 48 on a floor standing unit means 4 ton. Dawlance uses its own numbers instead: 15 is 1 ton, 30 is 1.5 ton and 45 is 2 ton.

Can an inverter AC run on solar panels without batteries?

During strong daylight, yes, if the panels and solar inverter can supply the AC along with your other loads. In the evening, under cloud or at night, it needs the grid or batteries. Solar-compatible models with a power limit make this easier, because you can match the AC’s draw to your panels.

What warranty comes with an AC?

Most ACs carry a general warranty of about a year plus a much longer compressor warranty, usually 10 years. Some models give 12 years on the compressor. Many also list a separate PCB kit warranty. The exact terms are on each product page, and every unit is 100% original.

Is delivery free, and are there charges on Cash on Delivery?

Delivery is free in Peshawar on every payment method, and free anywhere else in Pakistan when you pay in advance, even a partial amount. Cash on Delivery orders outside Peshawar carry a delivery charge plus 2% sales tax and 2% income tax, which we confirm by phone before dispatch.

Can I buy an air conditioner on installment?

Yes. You can buy an air conditioner on installment with zero down payment using a Bank Alfalah, JS Bank or MCB credit or debit card, and the whole process is online. The bank’s markup applies, and Bank Alfalah plans also carry a processing fee.

Do you install the AC?

Installation support is available on selected products. Ask our team on 0333-5652643 what is included for your model and city. A split AC should always be fitted by a trained technician, because the pipe work, gas charge and outdoor mounting affect both cooling and the warranty.

Why do AC prices change, and when is the best time to buy?

AC prices in Pakistan move with the dollar rate, import costs and summer demand. Prices and installation slots are under the most pressure in the hot months. We update prices daily, and every product page shows its price history, so you can see whether today’s price is a good one.

What happens if an AC is too small for the room?

It runs at full power for hours and still does not reach the set temperature. That raises the bill, wears the compressor and leaves the room warm on the hottest days. If in doubt between two sizes, take the larger one for a top-floor or sunny room.
