Where the VC-500 earns its keep

The VC-500 is the machine you reach for when a mop or a light vacuum is not enough. Typical jobs:

• Water problems: a burst pipe, an overflowing washing machine or monsoon water at the door.
• After the builders: brick dust, cement grit and wood shavings once painters and masons leave.
• Garage and workshop: sawdust, sand and leaves from the porch.
• Everyday cleaning: carpets, tiles and the car interior.

Tank size and motor on the VC-500

With 21 liters of tank space, the VC-500 takes a lot of water or rubble before it needs emptying, which matters when you are clearing a flooded room rather than a few crumbs. The 1800W motor gives it the pull to lift heavy debris and move liquid quickly. Its robust build is designed to cope with abrasive dry material as well as water.

Looking after the VC-500’s polyester filter

The polyester filter is washable and reusable. For dry jobs, tap it clean regularly, and rinse it when it gets heavy with dust. Let it dry completely before refitting so dust does not cake on it. After wet pickup, empty the tank and leave it open to dry. A clean filter keeps the suction strong and protects the motor from clogging.

The VC-500 is built for manoeuvrability as well as muscle: it rolls easily round furniture and copes with tight spaces, so you are not dragging a heavy drum from room to room.
