Ratings and protection
The NEG-40 heats with a 2000 W element and is rated for 0.75 MPa water pressure on a 50 Hz supply. The IPX4 grade means it resists splashing water from any direction. A 40 litre tank gives enough hot water for a couple of showers before it needs to reheat.
During load-shedding, heat the tank while power is on; stored hot water stays warm for a while after.
