The NasGas DG-931-BK is a built-in gas hob with a heavy gauge non-magnet steel top in black, grey cast iron pan trivets with a non-stick paint coating, and auto ignition powered by a 3V battery. It suits buyers who want a sturdy, distinctive steel hob that gives the kitchen a fresh look without the fragility of glass. The DG-931-BK costs Rs. 18,300 at AYS Online today.
What a heavy gauge steel top means on the DG-931-BK
Gauge is the thickness of the sheet. A heavy gauge top is thicker, so it resists denting and flexing when a loaded deghchi or pressure cooker is set down, and it holds its shape under daily heat. Being steel, it will not crack the way a glass top can if a lid slips from your hand.
The non-magnet steel used here is the type commonly chosen for kitchen surfaces because it keeps its finish in a humid, steamy kitchen. The black colour gives the counter a smart, darker look that hides minor splashes between cleans.
Grey cast iron trivets on the DG-931-BK
The pan trivets are grey cast iron, a heavy material that sits firmly on the hob and does not shift when you stir a thick salan. A non-stick paint coating means spilled food lifts off more easily when you clean.
- Lift the trivets off once cool and wash them separately.
- Wipe the steel top with a soft cloth and mild cleaner, never steel wool.
- Dry the burner area before relighting after a spill.
Battery ignition and installation
The 3V battery-operated auto ignition lights the burners at the turn of a knob and does not depend on mains power, so load-shedding does not stop your cooking. Replace the battery when the spark weakens. As a built-in hob, it needs a correctly sized opening, so confirm the cut-out with us before the slab is cut and have a qualified gas fitter make the connection.
Ask us if you are weighing it against a glass-top model.
Browse the NasGas hob collection or compare every kitchen hob we carry. Delivery is free across Pakistan on advance payment, and the DG-931-BK is covered by a one-year official brand warranty.
