Is 35 litres per hour enough? Sizing the CS-35

The CS-35 is the entry point for a proper compressor water cooler. Fischer rates its 35 litres per hour of cooling for about 35 to 70 people, which covers a large household with regular guests, a school staff room or a clinic reception through a hot day. If a factory floor or a large madrasa is drawing water all day, you will want a higher-capacity model instead.

What keeps the water clean and cold in the FE-35 (CS-35)

• SS304 non-magnetic tank: food-grade stainless steel that does not react with chlorine or minerals, so there is no rust or metallic aftertaste.
• 100% pure copper coiling: wrapped around the tank, copper transfers heat well and pulls the water temperature down.
• Brand-new compressor, condenser and fan motor: not refurbished parts.
• R134a refrigerant: CFC-free.
• Stainless steel body: rust-proof outside as well as in.

Using the CS-35 through summer and load-shedding

When the electricity returns after a load-shedding cycle, the compressor has to bring the whole tank back down, so try not to drain the cooler completely just before a scheduled outage. Place it on a level floor, in shade, with space behind for airflow, and connect it through a stabilizer if your area sees voltage swings. The full-size body suits an open counter, reception corner or a dedicated spot in the baithak.

Clean the taps and drip area every few days, and drain and rinse the tank occasionally, especially if you fill it from a supply line rather than an RO filter.
