How the twin tub works day to day
In a twin tub machine one tub washes and the second spins the clothes, and you move the load across by hand. You fill it with a hose or bucket and set the timers yourself, which gives you direct control over water use. Dawlance describes a one-sided waterfall that improves foam formation and helps detergent dissolve, and a robust, wide pulsator with strong rotation for heavy loads. The wide opening makes it easier to add and remove laundry. You can compare it with other Dawlance washing machines or browse our full washing machine range.
Size and power
Dawlance lists the machine at 84 cm wide, 46 cm deep and 95 cm high, with a set weight of 24 kg. It runs on 220V, 50Hz, and our product data rates the washer at 280W. If your home runs on a UPS or solar setup during load-shedding, our team can help you check whether your system can carry it.
