Cherry CSH-30T Electric Geyser (Smart Inverter Series) – 30L – Touch Control – Solar Compatible

The Cherry CSH-30T is a 30 litre electric geyser from Cherry’s Smart Inverter Series. It has a smart touch panel, a digital display and 3-step wattage control (800W, 1200W and 2000W), and Cherry rates it for use on home inverters, UPS and solar systems.

3-step wattage control

Choose 2000W for the fastest heating, 1200W for everyday use, or 800W to save electricity and reduce the load on an inverter or UPS. The setting is chosen on the touch panel, and the digital display shows the status.

Built to last

The tank is anti-bacterial enamel-coated and X-welded, with an anode rod that protects it against corrosion. The heating element is imported Incoloy alloy, thick PUF insulation keeps the water hot for longer, and the body is powder-coated ABS. It mounts vertically on the wall with standard ½ inch connections.

Safety features

Cherry lists over-temperature cutoff, an over-pressure valve, earth-leakage protection and dry-heating protection.

What “solar compatible” means

This is an electric geyser. “Solar compatible” means it can run on the AC output of a home solar inverter or UPS; it is not a solar water heater with panels on the roof. Choosing the lower 800W setting puts less load on a solar inverter or UPS, while 2000W heats the tank fastest when mains power is available.

Who should buy it

A 30 litre tank suits a small family bathroom. The unit measures 448 x 448 x 391 mm.
